THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO TAKING ONLINE SURVEYS
Doing a quick search for commonly asked questions about online surveys I found plenty of people asking do they get paid per survey but not really any answers. With that in mind I wrote this post which should hopefully answer this question for you.
It has to be said that each company will of course have its own way of doing things so you may come across the odd company that doesn’t do one of the following methods of payment. For this reason if the method they pay you in is a big issue for you then you should contact the individual company directly and query them about the issue.
Method 1
The most common method used is for companies to take details of a paypal account from you and pay you directly into this. A lot of companies will make sure you get paid per survey but others may have other factors involved such as having to reach a certain amount, let’s say $20, before they pay you. Some companies may also work on a monthly basis, paying out whatever they owe on a set date each month.
Method 2
Another method is also to pay directly into a bank account. Much like with paypal companies will have there own way of paying with most being paid per survey but one or two having set date payments or where members have to reach a certain threshold before they are paid.
Method 3
Another method companies use is to pay by cheque. These companies are becoming fewer as paying directly into paypal accounts or bank accounts is a lot faster and simpler. If you are signed up with a company that pays by cheque you will almost certainly have to reach a certain amount before they send out the money. Cheque is also the least popular for members as cheques can take days to arrive and then even longer to clear.
These are the 3 common payment methods you should encounter with the vast majority beingĀ paying you instantly, meaning you get paid per survey. Just be careful with which companies you sign up with as not all of them are legit, if you want to make sure you are safe I would sign up with a paid network to ensure you giving your details to only legitimate companies. If you decide to go with a paid network click here for the one I recommend.
